Market Risks & Investment Disclosures

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks, and their values may fluctuate due to economic and financial conditions. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and short-term market movements are unpredictable. Investors should review all scheme-related documents carefully before investing.

Dividend Payments

Opting for the Dividend Option does not guarantee payouts. Dividends are only distributed when a fund has sufficient surplus, and if the fund does not generate excess returns, no dividend will be paid.

Updating Personal Information

Keeping personal records updated is essential for seamless investment transactions and communication. Any changes in name, address, mobile number, email, nominee details, or bank account information must be reported immediately to avoid delays in statements, fund transfers, or redemption processing. Inaccurate details may lead to transaction failures or non-receipt of important notifications. Regulatory compliance requires investors to ensure that all records remain current.

Nominee & Joint Holder Updates

If a nominee or joint holder passes away, it is essential to update records promptly to prevent complications in claiming investments. Investors should visit our office with valid proof, such as the death certificate and identity verification documents, to facilitate changes. Keeping nominee details updated ensures that investments are transferred smoothly to legal heirs when required, avoiding legal hurdles and delays in fund access.

Review Meetings & Reports

We strongly recommend an annual investment review to track portfolio performance and realign investments with evolving financial goals. Markets change over time, and a periodic review helps optimize asset allocation based on new opportunities or shifts in risk appetite. Investment statements are sent via email from AMCs, ensuring transparency and easy record-keeping. Staying informed about portfolio progress allows investors to make data-driven, strategic decisions rather than emotional or reactionary ones.

Valuation Reports & NAV Calculations

NAV and valuation figures in reports reflect the last recorded transaction date and may not represent current market values. The NAV applicable to transactions is determined by the order execution date and cutoff time, as per regulatory norms. Investors should verify NAV timing rules before making purchases or redemptions. Reports and valuation data are for informational purposes only and should not be solely relied upon for making investment decisions.

Lock-in Periods & Exit Loads

Some mutual fund categories impose mandatory lock-in periods, which investors should be aware of before investing.
  • Retirement & Children’s Gift Funds: Lock-in period of 5 years per installment.
  • ELSS (Equity Linked Savings Scheme) Funds: Lock-in period of 3 years per installment.
  • Exit Loads: SIP and lump sum investments have different exit load structures. Each SIP installment is treated as a fresh purchase, so exit loads apply separately if redeemed within 12 to 24 months. Exit load charges vary across schemes, and investors should review them before withdrawal.

Taxation & TDS Rules

Investors should understand the taxation of mutual fund investments, including Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG) and Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG). Tax liability varies based on investment type, holding duration, and redemption date. Mutual fund taxation policies are subject to changes in tax laws, and investors should consult their tax advisor before making financial decisions. For investors using NRE/NRO accounts, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) will be deducted as per regulatory guidelines.

Regulatory & Compensation Disclosure

We distribute only regular plans of mutual funds and earn trail commissions from AMCs. We do not offer direct plans and do not charge investors any direct advisory fees. Our role is to facilitate investments.

Exit Load, Lock-in Period & Redemption Terms

Investors should carefully review exit loads, lock-in periods, and redemption terms before making withdrawals. Redemptions are processed as per the NAV cut-off time, and funds are typically credited within T+1 or T+2 working days, depending on the scheme’s processing timeline. Investors must plan redemptions in advance to avoid delays in accessing funds when needed.

Data Privacy & Security

We prioritize data privacy and security and do not share, sell, or misuse investor information. Sensitive details such as PAN, Aadhaar, and bank account details are not stored on our website. All investment transactions are securely processed via AMCs, RTAs (CAMS/KFintech), and BSE/NSE/MFU platforms to ensure compliance with financial regulations and protect investor confidentiality

Error Rectification & Misrepresentation Disclaimer

While we take every precaution to ensure accuracy and reliability in reports and statements, occasional discrepancies may occur. Investors are responsible for verifying data before making financial decisions. We reserve the right to rectify errors if identified, but we do not guarantee assured returns, fixed income, or unrealistic investment claims. Beware of fraudulent schemes or misleading investment guarantees, as mutual funds are market-linked and subject to risk.
